About Our Library

Primary students (1st - 3rd) check out one book per week. During January of each year, 3rd graders are allowed to choose up to two books. Upper students (4th - 6th) come to the library once every other week and are always welcome to choose up to two books. Due dates are always the day before they come to the library with their class for check-out. All students are encouraged to come to the library at 8:30 a.m. before school and at their first recess, if they want to exchange or return their book(s) before their next class check-out.

Textbook Use Guidelines and Replacement Costs

Evergreen School District provides board-approved textbooks and instructional materials for students to use at school and at home during the school year. Because these materials are loaned, students are responsible for their proper care and return.

Student Responsibilities

Students are expected to:

  • Be responsible for taking care of textbooks
  • Have textbooks at school every day
  • Cover hardbound books with a sturdy book cover (No sticky materials or
  • adhesives please)
  • Write name, room number, and school year on textbook bookplate
  • Notify teacher immediately concerning damages
  • Return assigned textbooks at the end of the school year or when they leave the school district
  • Pay for any textbooks or library materials that are lost or damaged while loaned to them.

Replacement Costs

Families are responsible for the cost of replacing any lost or damaged materials. Replacement costs vary by grade level:

Library Media Assistant

Welcome to Clark Cub's Library Corner. My plan is to review a book each month that I think you may enjoy reading. I also want to hear from you. This is your library, so let me know what books you would like added to our collection. I will try my best to order them for you.

Do you have a book recommendation? Tell us why your fellow Cubs should read your favorite book! Get the Book Recommendation Form.
