Because of the County-issued shelter in place and safety risks leaving your home, we are taking extra precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of the Evergreen staff who will assist you. All staff will be wearing gloves and masks. Devices have been cleaned with a disinfectant wipe. You are encouraged to wipe it again when you get home. Our checkout process described below will work within the social distancing guidelines.
This is a "Grab and Go" pick up service. Please be prepared to quickly retrieve a needed device and please have your own pen. Please expect the process to take 10-15 minutes. We thank you for your patience, flexibility, and for following our directions:
- Park in the Quimby parking lot. Walk to the tables keeping in mind proper social distancing. Quimby staff will be at the tables ready to assist you.
- Be prepared with your own pen. Complete the Evergreen Technology agreement. Return the signed agreement to the staff member.
- A staff member will give you a copy of the agreement, a device, a charger, and a protective bag.
Quimby's Pick Up Schedule: Please do your best to adhere to the schedule. We will work with families to the best of our abilities. The schedule allows us to keep devices organized and to make sure that social distancing guidelines are in place for everyone's safety.
Devices are expected to be used appropriately for school-related activities and maintained in the same condition. You will be expected to take full fiscal responsibility for the device including the replacement cost if it is lost or damaged. The device will allow your child to access lessons and activities, use all of the online tools and learning resources (including participating in Google Hangouts with teachers and other staff), and communicate using a district issued email account.
