The December 2021 Breakfast and Lunch Menu is now available from Child Nutrition Services. Meals are free for all students during the 2021-2022 school year. However, payment for a la carte purchases and adult meals is still required.
For nearly 30 years, the families of Evergreen School District have given much needed food to our community through their participation in our annual Second Harvest food drive. Monthly meetings beginning November 2021, 4:00-5:00 p.m. We all need support during these challenging times. Monthly support circles provide a protected, safe, nurturing space to receive and give that support. Come to share, learn, and grow as a school community. We are always stronger together.
Second Harvest is offering free groceries beginning November 4 on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 2:30 - 4 p.m. on the campus of O.B. Whaley Elementary School located at 2655 Alvin Avenue, San Jose. This is open to all and no documentation is required. Please plan to bring a wagon or cart to carry your food to your vehicle. You know that bullying is a serious concern when the month of October nationally has been named Bullying Prevention Month. In Evergreen School District, we take a strong stance against bullying. And we want you to know that your children have the right to learn and participate in a safe and positive school environment free from bullying.
